Project Requirements:
Customer required a type of slurry knife gate valve, which would be used for Pulp and Wood Pulp Production Line. The valve must be robust and reliable to handle the abrasive nature of the slurry, the materials used in the knife should be resistant to corrosion and erosion caused by the chemical and abrasive properties of the slurry. The suppliers must offer effective sealing to prevent leakage and maintain consistent pressure. The drive mode would be electric actuator, the platform under actuator by GOST55510 should be provided. The valve should be easy to maintain and repair with readily available replacement parts. 

Seallon`s Solutions:
● Seallon customized the special design which would accommodate high pressures and the thick, fibrous nature of the slurry (heavy-duty gate designs and reinforced seats); 
● The knife would be made of stainless steel 304 with a blade at the end, which would cut off the mediums operate effectively within the temperature ranges typical of the mill’s processes; 
● Due to the high pressure to PN25 of the mill’s pipeline system, we recommended to use Lug type of body, which made the valve firmly installed on the pipeline;
● The platform under electric actuator would be customized by GOST55510, and separated rubber sleeves and packing could be available for replacement in time.
